GVT – Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Godda in Jharkhand was established at the Sub-divisional Agriculture farm near Rautara chowk in the year 2006. GVT – Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Godda is managed by Gramin Vikas Trust and funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, ICAR New Delhi. KVK is a grassroots level technology transfer and vocational training institution designed for bridging the gap between the available technologies at one end and application for increased production.

For the farming community KVK has organized various types of training, kisan mela, exposure visits, and exhibition for rural farmers on one hand and on the other hand, it is also facilitated by Govt. for technology assessment, refinement and its dissemination to suit location specific requirement for the practicing farme
