Board of Trustees –
Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT) has started its journey in the year 1992 as a National Level nonprofit development Organization with active support from Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO), Department of Fertilizers, GOI, and DFID (UK).
GVT is directed by a Board of Trustees, which includes four Trustees from KRIBHCO, two Trustees from Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, and three nominated eminent Trustees from diverse and eminent backgrounds as follows:
Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Chairman, KRIBHCO & GVT
Dr. Chandra Pal Singh is a well-known Cooperator. Currently, he is the President of International Cooperative Alliance, Asia-Pacific. Dr. Chandra Pal Singh is the President of National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) an apex cooperative representing the cooperative movement of India. He has been serving a large number of cooperatives from national level to primary levels in various capacities.
Shri Sudhakar Chowdary Vallabhaneni Vice Chairman, KRIBHCO & GVT
Mr.Vallabhaneni Sudhakar Chowdary is B.E. (Industrial Production) and is the Managing Director of Mohan Spintex India Limited. He is the Chairman of AP Spinning Mills Association. Mr. Chowdary is also in the Managing Committees of South India Mills Association (SIMA), Confederation of Indian Textile industry (CITI), Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation and The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council of India. He is on the Board of many cooperative societies in Andhra Pradesh.
Shri Rajan Chowdhry Managing Director, KRIBHCO
Mr. Rajan Chowdhry is a Commerce Graduate from SRCC, Delhi University and also a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Shri Rajan Chowdhry has been working with KRIBHCO since June 1984. Before his elevation as Managing Director, he served as the Finance Director also. He was on deputation with KRIBHCO Fertilizers Limited as Chief Finance Officer and with Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd. (IPGCL) & Pragati Power Corporation Limited (PPCL), Government of Delhi as Director Finance.
Shri Sunder Singh Yadav Director ( HR ), KRIBHCO
Mr. S.S. Yadav, is B. Tech (Electronics and Communications) and ITS 1989. He has done his Masters from London School of Economics in Public Management. He has also worked on deputation as Director in National Disaster Management Authority, Govt. of India from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Yadav has also worked as Director in Election Commission of India from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this assignment, he has worked as ED (HR) KRIBHCO and Chief Executive Officer Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT). He is Director (HR) of KRIBHCO from August, 2022 and also Trustee of GVT w.e.f. 30th August, 2022.
Mr. V.S.R. Prasad Marketing Director, KRIBHCO
Mr. V.S.R. Prasad has done his Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing discipline. He has 34 years of experience in various capacities in Marketing Division of KRIBHCO. Prior to his appointment as Marketing Director, he was working as Executive Director (Coop. Relations and Marketing). He is Marketing Director of KRIBHCO & Trustee of GVT w.e.f. 1st April, 2022.
Shri Manish Kumar Finance Director, KRIBHCO
Mr. Manish Kumar, is a B.Tech (Civil) from IIT, Delhi and is also MBA in Finance. He joined Indian Audit & Account Service in 1993, after working in a Private Sector for 4 years. During his tenure in the Central Government, he served at Senior Management level especially in the area Accounts, Audit and Finance for more than 29 years. His experience includes working in Ministry of Finance and multilateral agencies such as UNDP & World Bank. He is Finance Director of KRIBHCO & Trustee of GVT w.e.f. 29th November, 2022.
Mr. K.N. Hari Hara Prasad Joint Director, FICC, Deptt. of Fertilizers, Trustee
Mr. K.N. Hari Hara Prasad is M.Sc (Chemistry). He is Joint Director (FICC), Department of Fertilizers, Govt. of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. He is Govt. Nominee Director/ Trustee in GVT w.e.f. 20th July, 2022.
Mr. Shri M. Subramanian Director, FICC, Deptt. of Fertilizers, Trustee
Mr. M Subramanian is MA (History). He is Director (PSU), Department of Fertilizers, Govt. of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. He is Govt. Nominee Director/ Trustee in GVT w.e.f. 3rd October, 2022.
Dr. Noor Mohammad, Retd. IAS (1977-2011), Trustee GVT
Dr. Noor Mohammad is Doctorate in Economics from Lucknow University and Post Graduate in School of Administrative Studies from York University, Toronto, Canada, in Physics (Gold Medalist) from Aligarh Muslim University and in Economics from Kanpur University.
Dr. Noor Mohammad, a member of the Indian Administrative Service (1977-2011), has served on many election related assignments such as District Election Officer, Chief Electoral Officer, Deputy Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India for nearly 15 years. After retirement from the Administrative Service, he works as Electoral Expert in Indian International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) and conducts capacity development programmes for election officials since May 2012. He was instrumental in introducing many reforms in the field of electoral management in India.
His international assignments include International Member of the Joint Electoral Management Body in Afghanistan in 2005 and Chief Electoral Advisor for the United Nations Development Programme in Kabul in 2006. He has been a visitor to Mexican and Australian elections in 2003 and also a member of the Commonwealth Observer Group in Nigeria (2007), Guyana (2015) and Papua New Guinea (2017).
Smt. Shilpi Arora
Smt. Shilpi Arora is a Graduate in History, Economics, Hindi & English from Delhi University and has also done Diploma in Journalism and Advertising & Marketing. She is a director registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). Smt. Shilpi Arora has held various positions as Director in the various Organizations like KRIBHCO Fertilizers Limited, Garuda Advertising Private Limited, Noleggio Hub Pvt. Ltd.
