Hon’ble Finance Minister handed over the certificate to GVT’s FPO

Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of India, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, visited Jammu on 23rd November 2021. On this occasion, Madam handed over Registration Certificates to representatives of 05 FPOs. Among the 5 FPOs, Batote Farmers Producers Company Limited which has been established by Gramin Vikas Trust under Central Sector Scheme “Formation and Promotion of 10,000 new Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)” was also handed over the registration certificate. Mr. Manoj Sinha (LG, Jammu and Kashmir), Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma (Member of Lok sabha), Mr. R K Chhibber (Director of J&K BANK) also graced the event. GVT is establishing and providing technical assistance to 25 No. of FPO’s for the fiscal year 2020-21 under the same the same programme in various states.
