Build and enhance resilience of vulnerable communities by restoring natural resources, enabling capacities, socio-economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, robust village institutions, and functional governance systems
Goal
GVT aims to reach out to about 1.5 crore (15 million) people through its interventions in the next 10 years ( 2012-13 to 2021-22) and raise the earnings of about 30 lakh (3 million) people from among them by Rs. 36,000 per annum (US$ 492 @ Rs. 73 to a US$) at today’s prices (Base year being 2019-20).
