Accruing Income With Agri Dairy

Parmar Santaben Srajan bhai has a family of six comprising of 4 children. She has land holding of 2 acres and was growing Maize, Wheat, Soyabean and Gram in her 2 acre of land in Kharif and Rabi season and was earning approximately Rs.22,000/- from her regular farming practices before she was introduced to Agri Dairy Project intervention. According to Parmar, per day 20 Liters of milk production is successfully done resulting to Rs. 30,000/- monthly income after being introduced to Agri Dairy product intervention. She also started growing vegetable in her 1 acre of land and Mandva cultivated creeper vegetables in 10 Guntha of land and other vegetables in 30 Guntha of land, she has done intercropping in her Mandva WADI field. Parmar further shared that she was not aware about the cash income but after the visit of GVT team in her village and after attending several meetings conducted by Gramin Vikas Trust she came to know about the Agri Dairy project as well as Milk Production benefits. Under the guidance of GVT team, she started earning more than 30,000/- rupees and was very happy and thankful to ONGC & GVT for motivating her, guiding her and supporting her continuously on the field. More than 50% of the money has been deposited by her in the bank and some amount is spent by her on her family by purchasing basic necessities.
